Art & Chocolate Studio Trek

Where: Artist studios in Rocklin, Roseville and Granite Bay

The seventh annual Art & Chocolate Art Studio Trek will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Three Rocklin artists are featured in this event: Lynda Pike, Connie McLennan and Diane Ruhkala Bell.

Pike, an accomplished watercolor, acrylic and fiber art artist, will be set up at 5433 Thunder Ridge Circle. McLennan, a published artist, will show her oil paintings and children’s books at 3908 Baltic Circle. Ruhkala Bell, another award- winning artist, will display her mixed media encaustics, collage and assemblage pieces at her studio at 4045 Winding Lane. A guest artist, Elma Jella, will also show her acrylic pieces at Ruhkala Bell’s studio location.

Seventeen other artists will display their work and offer demonstrations in studio locations in Roseville and Granite Bay.

Guests visiting at least 10 different studios will be eligible to win original art. To be included in the drawing ,attendees must sign in and collect individual artist locale stamps on their “Passport Map”
