The Rocklin High School boys basketball team will host its annual Holiday Tournament starting this Thursday and concluding with the championship game on Saturday.

The Thunder comes off a third-place finish in the Folsom-Vista del Lago Tournament his past weekend. Rocklin defeated Del Campo 49-43 behind Devin Moss’s game-high 16 points.

Also scoring in the contest were Hayden Cook eight, Jake Faulkner eight and Drew Ardissone and Cole Bridge had six apiece.

Rocklin’s only loss in the tournament came at the hands of co-host eventual champion Folsom 61-43. Moss scored 10, Vinnie Safin nine and Ardissone seven.

The boys in blue opened the tournament with a 61-30 victory over American. Eleven Thunder scored; Moss led with nine, Taylor Cherry eight and Safin, Cook, Ardissone and Faulkner had seven each.
