Information taken from Rocklin Fire Department log. JULY 4 At approximately 9:45 p.m., Rocklin firefighters responded to the report of a grass fire in the 1700 block of Piute Street. According to the fire report, no visible signs of fire were found except for smoke coming from multiple fireworks displays underway in the neighborhood. JULY 4  Just after 1 p.m., Rocklin firefighters responded to a home on Coldwater Drive to assist a resident. According to the report, a woman at the residence needed assistance with 89-year-old man who had reportedly fallen. JULY 1 Just before 4:30 p.m., Rocklin fire crews assisted Calfire crews on a mutual aid assignment in Roseville. According to the fire report, firefighters laid fire attack lines and conducted fire mop up operations at a grass fire that burned a barn structure near Fiddyment and Catlett Roads. JUNE 27 Just before 6:30 p.m., Rocklin firefighters responded to the report of a fire in the rear parking lot at 2540 Warren Dr. According to the fire report, a lit cigarette dropped in a tree planter started a fire. No structures were threatened.
