· 8 a.m.: First 500 customers in line receive a free eco-frugal reusable grocery bag
· 10 a.m. to 3 p.m: Free spin and win on the Wheel of Bargains
·11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: $1 hot dog and drink sale; all proceeds benefit Placer Food Bank
· 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Free face painting and caricature portraits; free Play Magic Cart – winner every 15 minutes
The new Rocklin Grocery Outlet, locally owned and operated by Ralph and Laura Richards, will hold its grand opening Saturday, Dec. 1.
Attendees will enjoy free coffee and treats, free Eco-frugal reusable bags for the first 500 customers, games with prize giveaways and activities for the whole family to enjoy, as well as the chance to win a Sony 46-inch HDTV, a pair of beach cruiser bikes, a 14-foot canoe or free groceries for a year. Also, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., $1 hot dog and drink sales will benefit the Placer Food Bank.
