The Rocklin Thunder baseball team will get a taste of Minor League Baseball by playing against Davis at Raley Field, March 22. In a partnership between the River Cats, Sports Authority, and Northern California high schools, Raley Field will host 48 prep games this spring. The series is scheduled to culminate in a doubleheader featuring players from the 43 teams participating, June 3. This partnership not only gives local athletes a chance to play were the Pacific Coast League’s Triple-A River Cats play, but serves as a fundraiser for the schools, as well. College coaches and professional scouts are also expected to be in attendance at the games.
