Kids Junction Winter Camp – Children can enjoy art, sports and a variety of enrichment projects during winter break at the Rocklin Community Center. Register early as space is limited.

Shoot the Rock Basketball – This popular offering is for boys and girls and emphasizes basketball skills, sportsmanship and fun. All participants receive a Jr. Kings reversible jersey.

Youth and Adult Tennis – Beginning in January, tennis professional Andrew Fearnside will offer a tennis program for ages 5 and up.

The deadline is fast approaching to sign up early for Rocklin boys basketball 2013 Winter Little Thunder Basketball camp for boys kindergarten through the sixth grade will be held Saturdays from Jan. 5 through Feb. 9 in the Rocklin High School gym.

 The sessions are 60 minutes each divided equally between practice and games; the times of each session to be determined.

The fee on or before Dec. 18 is $75 per player, $95 after that date. Make checks payable to Rocklin High School Boys Basketball ($20 cancellation charge). The cost includes T-shirt and custom all-weather basketball. Little Thunder participants wearing T-shirt admitted free to all Rocklin boys varsity home games.

 Woodcreek High School’s girls basketball program will hold its Little Lady Timberwolves youth league on four consecutive Saturday mornings – Jan. 19 and 26 and Feb. 2 and 9.

The league is open to girls in kindergarten through sixth grade. The Woodcreek coaching staff and players will teach basic offensive and defensive fundamentals during each 90-minute session of practice and games. Divisions will be split by grade: K-2, 3-4 and 5-6.

Pre-registration is $60 by Dec. 20. Late registration is $75 and held at 8 a.m. Jan. 19 in the Woodcreek gym.
