A man from Shingle Springs and a woman from Lincoln were arrested Saturday after Rocklin police officers found burglary tools and evidence of identity theft in their vehicle, according to the Rocklin Police Department.
At about 4:06 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, Rocklin police officers stopped a vehicle in the area of Taylor Road and Interstate 80 for a vehicle code violation, according to the report. The driver was identified as Larry Ledezma of Shingle Springs. The female passenger was identified as Krystin Gonzales of Lincoln. Both occupants of the vehicle were found to be on searchable probation, the report said.
During a search of the interior of the car, officers reportedly located burglary tools and evidence of identity theft. Both occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody and booked at the Placer County Jail. Rocklin police detectives are investigating the possible identity theft of victims from the Lincoln and Rocklin area.
Ledezma, 29, was arrested and booked on charges of possession of burglary tools and violation of probation. Gonzales, 22, was arrested and booked on charges of misappropriation of found property
