Rocklin police search for suspects in early morning home invasion

ROcklin Police Officers responded early Monday morning to a home in the 5400 block of Agular Road in Rocklin for a report of a home invation robbery. Upon arrival officers found the front door forced open. Upon entry into the residence to conduct a security sweep, officers located a male subject who was later identified as one of the resident renters of the home. He had been held at gun point, beaten about his body and tied up with an electrical cord. He did not sustain any life threatening injuries and refused medical aid. The victim said the suspects then proceeded to ransack the interior of the home asking for money and marijuana. The suspects were said to have been in the home for approximately 15 minutes and left with $500 in cash and an undisclosed amount of marijuana. Twelve Marijuana plants under cultivation were located in a back bedroom of the residence and other containers with dried marijuana. The victim had freed himself and called the police via 911. The suspects were not known to the victim and are still at large.
