Butte College quarterback Jordan Rodgers connected with running back Marcus Preciado for a 50-yard touchdown with 7:34 left, sending the Roadrunners to a 22-15 win over Sierra in the PremierWest Bank Bowl at Homer “Buzz” Ostrom Stadium Saturday afternoon. Rodgers, the younger brother of Green Bay Packers star Aaron Rodgers, threw for 192 yards and all three Butte (8-3) touchdowns, leading the Roadrunners to victory after the teams traded leads four times in the second half. Plagued by injuries all season, the Wolverines (5-6) made their eighth straight bowl appearance after finishing in a three-way tie for the Valley Conference title with Fresno and Reedley.
