Rocklin schools came together Friday, with students and staff wearing pink for Pink Friday. Many Whitney High School students dressed in pink attire last Friday. Whitney High Visual and Performing Arts teacher Deborah Lane said that Whitney may see a 25 percent staff cut because of the educational budget crisis. “It’s greatly impacting our school, loosing a quarter of our teachers is detrimental,” Lane said. – Lauren Weber
