Patriot Day pays tribute to first responders
-A +A
More than 5,000 people attended Rocklin’s first Patriot Day, a tribute to hometown heroes held on the 10th anniversary of Sept. 11. Held at the Blue Oaks Town Center, the Color Guard proudly presents the flags at the opening of Sunday’s event. “The turnout was awesome,” said Mike Bailey, who headed up the committee organizing the event. “And William Jessup (University) did a phenomenal job with their (closing) ceremony.” For more photos, see Placer Herald's Photo Gallery.
