Santa joins firefighters for visit to neighborhoods

-A +A
Santa Claus has again requested the assistance of the Rocklin firefighters in escorting him through Rocklin’s non-gated neighborhoods to visit children of all ages. Santa will ride atop a fire engine, while his helpers pass out candy to all the good boys and girls in Rocklin. This excursion is planned between 5:30 and 9 p.m. Dec. 5 through Dec. 8 and Dec. 12 through Dec. 15. Since Santa has so many houses to visit, he will have to keep moving in order to make his rounds. Since he will be traveling in a very large fire engine, it will be important that residents remain on the sidewalk and not try to approach the vehicle. Also, he requests that all pets remain inside to avoid frightening Santa’s helpers. It is Santa’s intention to visit the southern half of Rocklin Dec. 5 through Dec. 8 and the northern half of Rocklin Dec. 12 through Dec. 15. Occasionally, inclement weather may prevent Santa from making his scheduled rounds, but be assured that if he is rained out, he will make every attempt to reschedule his rounds on the nights of Dec. 19 and 20. Please be fire safe throughout the year and know that Santa and the Rocklin firefighters wish you and yours the very happiest of holidays. ~ Staff report
