Selling ‘Tsunami Sweets’ to help Japan

Fourth graders Grace Hardy, left, Ava Jeung, and Mikayla Barkve sell Lifesavers to Mckinna Micas and another student at Rock Creek Elementary School in Rocklin. Jeung had the idea to sell Lifesavers in a “Tsunami Sweets” drive to raise money for those affected by the events in Japan. The money raised will go to the Red Cross to be passed on to the victims of the earthquake and tsunami. Students had a goal of raising $500.
