Series of rock burglaries plague Rocklin businesses

Rocklin Police are looking for a man allegedly responsible for a series of business burglaries in the area. Two incidents happened at the same business. The EZ Stop on Midas Avenue allegedly had a chunk of concrete put through the front window sometime after 1:30 a.m. on Oct. 8. Police report more than $4,200 worth of cigarettes were stolen. The business was allegedly hit again in the same fashion about 2 a.m. Oct. 30. According to police reports, a male suspect approximately 24 years old, used a rock to burglarize Ourada Engineering on Sunset Boulevard overnight Oct. 26. The same suspect description was also reported at an attempted burglary at Thunder Liquor on Sunset Boulevard just after 10 p.m. on Oct. 26. Police report the suspect was captured on video surveillance smashing the front glass with a rock.
