-A +A

The 2013 Earth Day Celebration at Sierra College begins Tuesday, April 23, and runs through through Friday, April 26.

Events are scheduled throughout the day Tuesday through Thursday. Friday will culminate with two back-to-back performances that each feature California’s famous John Muir – a lecture by Muir’s great-great-grandson followed by a one-man stage performance by renowned actor Lee Stetson as John Muir.

Sierra College has celebrated Earth Day each year since its official worldwide inauguration in April 1970. Events are free of charge, (excluding the John Muir events) and open to the public, and the community is welcome and encourage the community to come celebrate.
