Sierra College Instructor to Perform on Oct. 28th Sierra College instructor in concert Oct. 28

Sierra College piano instructor Theresa Keene will present a multi-genre recital at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28 in room D-12 in Walker Hall on Sierra College’s Rocklin campus. Greg McLaughlin, a member of the Sierra College Music Department, describes Keene, who is the principal keyboardist for the Sacramento Philharmonic Orchestra, as “a spectacular performer.” Program highlights performance include Beethoven's “Fur Elise” and the “Moonlight Sonata,” as well as Negro spirituals and the Rachmaninoff/Liszt composition, “Liebeslied.” Tickets, at $10 general admission and $6 for students and seniors, can be purchased at the door. Parking permits can be purchased for $2 at machines located within any campus parking lot, 5000 Rocklin Road.
