Rocklin Fine Arts group is sponsoring their annual Snowflake Art Show, which will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Finn Hall, 4090 Rocklin Road. Artwork will be divided into two groups: Adults and Students. Categories will include: watercolor, oil, acrylic, colored pencil, pen and ink, pastels, mixed media, photography, sculpture, amateur and professional. Entry forms are online at rocklinfinearts.org. Adults can submit entries today between 9 a.m. and noon at Finn Hall. Entry fee is $15. Maximum size for an adult division entry is 24-inches by 36-inches. Adult entries will be eligible for one of the monetary prizes: Best of Show $100; first place $50; second place $25 and third place $15. An award ceremony will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Student artists can submit artwork between 4 and 6 p.m. today. There is no entry fee for students. Maximum size for student artwork is 12-inches by 16-inches. A reception for student artists will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday. Ribbons will be awarded to the top winners. Snowflake Art Show will be juried by Susan Sarback from the School of Light and Color. Artwork by Rocklin Fine Arts members will be on display in the Rocklin Library through the end of April.
