Strikes Unlimited celebrity bowling event for charityBy: Staff Report
Strikes Unlimited in Rocklin has partnered with several businesses to take part in a celebrity bowling event in March to benefit American Red Cross.
AutoWest Honda Roseville and Angels in the Alley have joined the South Placer entertainment facility in putting together what they hope to be an annual event. The benefit will be open to the public for both viewing and participation.
Scheduled for 3-7 p.m. March 9, Lance Briggs, Ken Shamrock, Ruthie Bolton and evening’s host Adrian Ross are expected to attend. Bowlers will receive goody bags, T-shirts and celebrity photos provided by sponsors like Now 100.5 FM, CBS Sports Radio 1140, KNCI 105.1, Thunder Valley Casino Resort and Bud Light.
For information or to sign up, contact event director Doug Brown (916) 626-6367 or visit angelsinthealley.org.
Angels in the Alley is a nonprofit organization founded by Strikes Unlimited owner Kari Pegram. Strikes Unlimited provides 50 lanes of bowling plus the Halftime Bar and Grill offering food, spirits and entertainment. Both are on Facebook and Twitter.
