Students plant tulips, vow to stay drug free

Last Tuesday, Cobblestone Elementary School students celebrated Red Ribbon Week by planting 600 red tulip bulbs on school grounds. Come spring and the tulips bloom, students will remember: “My two lips (tulips) say, ‘I’ve got better things to do than drugs!” First-grader Molly Oropallo, left, and third-grader Alexandra Kusiak hold their bulbs during the school’s planting.
