Rocklin High’s varsity boys volleyball team enters the Sac-Joaquin Section playoffs as the No. 2 seed. The Thunder (30-6), ranked No. 25 in the state according to maxpreps.com, won the Sierra Foothill League South division with a record of 8-0. They will have a bye in Thursday’s first-round playoff matches. They will play the winner of Bear River and Golden Sierra at home on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
