Tri-Pacific in Rocklin reduces carbon footprint
By: Staff report
Tri-Pacific, a manufacturer representative/distributor of equipment sold to the natural gas industry, recently set out to reduce their carbon footprint. Through Akeena Solar, Inc., the Rocklin business installed a solar system on the building’s rooftop. The $100,000 solar system was installed in October. In addition, Tri-Pacific replaced the tar roof with a new PVC roof to reflect the heat. PG&E also replaced the high-energy fluorescent lights with new high-efficiency replacements. Tri-Pacific is located at 4345 Pacific St. and sells products ranging from meters, valves, regulators and filters to specialized analyzers and control valves.
