Grab your forks and get ready for a month full of fundraiser festivities. This month, many of Rocklin’s schools are holding events with proceeds going back to the school. There’s crab feeds and spaghetti nights galore, beginning with two this Friday night. Both beginning at 6:30 p.m., Twin Oaks Elementary will hold a pasta dinner fundraiser in their multi purpose room, while Cobblestone will also hold a spaghetti dinner night for $6.50 per person and includes food and music. Valley View Elementary School is holding a fundraiser night on Feb. 11 as part of their Spirit Nights. Patrons of McDonald’s on the corner of Park and Sunset boulevards can let their server know they are from Valley View and a percentage of all sales that night will go toward the school. The school’s Spirit Nights also include an upcoming partnership with Chick-Fil-A on March 11. If fast or Italian food isn’t what you crave, the Rocklin Fire Department is holding their fourth annual cab dinner at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 14. Couples can cozy up with bread, salad, pasta, crab and dessert to celebrate Valentine’s Day at the Rocklin Sunset Center, 2650 Sunset Blvd. Tickets are $45 and the night includes raffles and auctions with proceeds donated to the UC Davis Children’s Hospital Cancer Center. Call 625-5324 for more information; it’s recommended people purchase tickets soon as the event sells out. Finishing off the month, Parker Whitney Elementary PTC will hold a crab feed and silent auction at 6 p.m. on Feb. 27 at the Sunset Whitney Country Club.
