Weather forces hoops playoff changes

Colfax boys, Foresthill girls change game days, Colfax, Bear River girls to tip at 6 tonight
An impending winter storm expected to hit heavily in the foothills region has forced some changes to the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section girls and boys basketball playoff schedule. CIF officials confirmed Thursday afternoon that two game day chamges and two game time switches have already been made to acomodate schools that could be affected by the predicted heavy snowfall. In two Div. IV girls games today, both the Argonaut at Bear River and West Campus at Colfax games have been moved up to begin at 6 p.m. The games were originally scheduled for 7 p.m. Foresthill High's Div. V girls game slated for tonight between the Wildfires and Bradshaw Christian has been moved to Saturday evening at Bradshaw. Tipoff time is set for 6 p.m. The Colfax boys' home game against Ripon has been moved to Monday at 6 p.m. It was scheduled for Friday. Also in Division IV, Summerville will now host Capital Christian at 6 p.m. on Monday instead of Friday evening.
