Whitney senior earns Eagle Scout honor

-A +A
Jrrod Franklin, a senior at Whitney High School in Rocklin, recently received Boy Scout’s highest honor of Eagle Scout. Franklin completed his Eagle Scout project by directing more than 30 volunteers who put in more than 300 hours using donated, abandoned, purchased and recycled materials to build a 150-foot pathway linking the youth building to the Fellowship Hall at the First Baptist Church of Rocklin. Now church members have a path to walk on, instead of walking through mud and wet grass. Franklin earned 25 merit badges during his quest to become an Eagle Scout and also earned the Arrow of Light award, the highest Cub Scout honor, while a Cub Scout.
