Who will win the Division II soccer title?

-A +A

Oak Ridge of the Sierra Valley Conference joins three Sierra Foothill League teams in the Sac-Joaquin Section Division II soccer semifinals this week at Folsom High School.

Our Placer Sports poll asks you who will win that soccer championship?

Two years ago, it was the Trojans who knocked off Granite Bay in the section semifinals before losing to Rocklin in the title game. This year, Oak Ridge and Granite Bay are matched up again in the next to last round.

Can they do it again? Or is this Granite Bay team ready to get back to the final for the third time in four years? And will either Oak Ridge or the Grizzlies handle the winner of the Rocklin vs. Roseville contest when Saturday rolls around?

On the other side of the draw, SFL rivals Rocklin and Roseville renew acquaintances in the semifinals. The Thunder won the first meeting this season easily, and then the Tigers returned the favor the second time they hooked up.

Who will win the rubber match, and will that team have enough left to win the Saturday championship game?
