William Jessup hosts seminar geared for leaders, influencers

-A +A

William Jessup University will host a day-long seminar, “Lead Like Jesus,” from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, in the Bernardoni Lecture Hall. Whether you are a parent, business leader, pastor, coach, student or teacher, this seminar will provide you with the tools to be an effective leader.

"William Jessup University is all about transformative education,” said Jessup President Dr. John Jackson. “We are pleased to partner with "Lead Like Jesus" to equip leaders for transformative change in their organizations.”

The workshop is packed with action-oriented learning and reflection, and closely examines Jesus as a leader and role model while equipping participants to lead as he did. The “Lead like Jesus” organization was co-founded by Ken Blanchard, author of bestselling book “The One Minute Manager” and Phil Hodges, human resource and industrial relationship manager in corporate America for 36 years and co-author of three books, including “The Servant Leader” with Blanchard.

The seminar is facilitated by Lyndon Azcuna, who recently joined Life Action Ministries. He is the former executive director of Awana Lifeline, a ministry that reaches many different places where fatherhood is either broken or completely absent, including Native American reservations, inner-city communities, prisons and rehabilitation and juvenile homes.

As many as 18 organizations have adopted this effective model of leadership that delivers clear implementation strategies designed to take the workplace beyond traditional methods of teamwork and conflict resolution.

This event is sponsored by the Fellowship of Marketplace Christians, The ACTS Group and William Jessup University. Cost is $40 per person and includes lunch and course materials. For more information, visit www.jessup.edu/media.
