William Jessup University recently announced the signing of Greg Giron to the men’s basketball program.  Giron, a 6-foot-5 wing/ post player, is from Chino Hills High. During his senior year he helped lead the Wildcats to a 25-8 record and a Pioneer League Championship while averaging nine points and seven rebounds per game. He helped Chino win three league titles, was voted all-league twice and served as team captain as a senior. “I chose William Jessup because I like what the school has to offer, both academically and spiritually,” Giron said. “Coach (Aaron) Muhic made me feel very comfortable during my initial visit. I can see the team has tremendous potential due to Jessup’s recent recruits. I hope to not only achieve a championship, but also receive a well-based Christian education.” Muhic said, “Greg is a big part of a very special recruiting class. He has the work ethic and ability to be a fine player. Greg will provide toughness on our team and will not back down.”
