Woman arrested for allegedly stealing from co-worker

A 51-year-old Rocklin woman was arrested Tuesday after she allegedly used another’s credit card at an Auburn business. Marcella Kay Mills was arrested after an Auburn Police officer discovered Mills was using a Save Mart employees’ credit card at an Auburn business and two others, according to Auburn Police Sgt. Victor Pecoraro. On Saturday, the Save Mart employee reported that his wallet was lost or stolen. A few hours later he discovered the one of his credit cards was used at an Auburn business. Officer Chris Forman looked into the case and discovered a coworker, Mills, picked up the wallet. Mills was arrested at the Save Mart located on the 300 block of Elm Avenue in Auburn on charges of burglary, forgery, identity theft and possession of prescription medication without a prescription. ~ Staff report
