All fared well on Cinco De Mayo for WECA-ICA 10th Annual Golf Tournament benefiting WIND Youth Services in Sacramento, CA. They had a libiation station set up over by the Pro Shop.
The tournament attracted various people from the local area as well as various charity organizations. There were a total of sixty eight golfers and 11 sponsors raised 4,000 each.
"In the 10 years we’ve held the tournament we’ve raised nearly $65,000 for WIND.This tournament benefits WIND Youth Services, education programs, outreach, youth shelter and other charities," explained Christine Hauser, Marketing and Communications Director for Western Electrical Contractors Association.
WIND is a 501(c)(3) agency dedicated to providing shelter for runaway, youth, families and the homeless. They have various programs ranging from Education, community activities. Please visit their website for further information at http://www.windyouth.org/about/whoweare.asp
The next tournament benefiting Wind Youth Services will be held Sunday June 8th, 2008.
