Fourth of July parade time in Foresthill means the Clampers coming to town and even without a soak zone for water wars along the Foresthill Road route, the red-shirted throng of E Clampus Vitus members is able to create some excitement with their antics.

Russ Crowder, a board member, serves as sergeant major for Clampers, drilling at the head of a contingent of about 50, barking out orders as onlookers chuckle at the craziness.

Clampers in Friday’s parade are members of Auburn's Honorable Order of E Clampus Vitus Lord Sholto Douglas Chapter No. 3.
