While walkers, joggers and cyclists are enjoying the sunny weather, others aren’t quite so happy.
This Friday’s scheduled opening date for the Folsom ice skating rink has been canceled. The new date has been pushed back to Monday, Nov. 24, according to Sally Howard, marketing director for the Folsom Chamber of Commerce.
“We are experience a few delays due to the unseasonably warm weather,” Howard said. “We will open on Monday at 9 a.m. with a ribbon cutting.”
Howard said the ice skating rink’s days of operation have also been extended through Jan. 25.
Monday’s opening date will feature a ribbon cutting with city and business officials.
