Once again this year, Santa Claus requested the assistance of the Rocklin firefighters in escorting him through the non-gated neighborhoods of Rocklin to visit children of all ages.
Santa rides atop a fire engine and his helpers pass out candy to all the good boys and girls. Santa visited the southern half of Rocklin Dec. 3-6, and plans to visit the northern half from 5:30-9 p.m. Dec 10-13.
Santa must keep moving on his tour, as he has so many houses to visit. Since he will be traveling in a very large fire engine, children and families should remain on the sidewalk and not try to approach the vehicle. Also, leave all pets in the house so as not to frighten Santa’s helpers.
If Santa’s tour is rained out, he will make every attempt to reschedule for the nights of Dec. 17 and 18. For information, call 625-5300.
Rocklin firefighters urge families to be fire safe throughout the year and know that Santa and the Rocklin firefighters wish everybody the very happiest of holidays.
