Bike Auburn committee member Jim Northey put on a funny wig and raced in the celebrity tricycle race against 5th District Placer County Supervisor Jennifer Montgomery. The just-for-fun tricycle race was one of the family activities at the Gold Country Century and Family Festival Saturday.

Sean Fitzpatrick (L) and his wife Amy leave on the metric centry ride. The Fitzpatrick's are from Oakdale but made the trip to Auburn for the ride. "We're good friends with Dan and Dawn Tebbs, owners of Victory Velo, and my husband rides here almost every weekend," said Amy.
