At High Hand Historic Fruit Shed in Loomis, Rocklin resident Jennifer Bourn and her children Natalie, 5, and Carter, 2, pick strawberries during Sunday's Placer Farm and Barn Tour. With their grandma Sally Bridges in tow, 5-year-old Aislinn Ormande and her 7-year-old brother Tristan watch the koi fish at High Hand. Roseville resident Lauren Batz, 13, wanders through the nursery at High Hands, taking photographs of the flowers and statues throughout. Sigrid Batz waves at the koi, who seem ready to eat every time anyone walks by, as her 8-year-old daughter, Amanda, watches. "This place is just absolutely gorgeous," said Batz.
