More than 1,800 people participated in the sixth annual Run Rocklin, attracting people from as far as San Francisco and Reno. The 12K runners began their 7-mile run/walk at approximately 8 a.m. Sunday morning, followed by 5K runners. Run Rocklin participant Wazi Aguirre of William Jessup University came in first for the 5K Sunday. He was followed by 13-year-old Brynn Surgent who came in second. More than 1,800 people participated in the sixth-annual Run Rocklin, raising funds for the Matt Redding Memorial Scholarship Foundation.
